Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty is an American actress, born in Berkeley on the 1st October 1996. She is an actress known as the actress behind Choices (2010), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006) and Chrissie Mayr's Content House (2022).

Asia Argento was raised in Rome by an acting and film-making family. The two professions she chose to pursue were herself. The Church was directed by Michele Soavi. The following year, she played Nanni Moritti's child in Red Wood Pigeon. Her professional career took off after she was cast as Nanni's little girl in Close Friends. Cannes International Film Festival was a huge achievement for the film. In Trauma she worked in her first film with her father, the famous Italian filmmaker of horror Dario Argento her mother is one of Argento's favorite actresses, Daria Nicolodi, playing an obese girl who is in search of her parents' murderer. Asia's intense, absorbed performance style was put to good use in the film Condannato a nozze. In 1993, she was a co-star in the film of Carlo Verdones, Perdiamoci di vista, in which she played Arianna an athlete. It was a complex role and demanding, earning recognition from David di Donatello for the best actor. Her 1995 work alongside Michel Piccoli for Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio won her a David di Donatello, as well as the Grolla of Oro. Asia began her directing career in 1994 and released two short films and an episode from the film De Generazione. In 1996 she made a documentary about her father, and AbelAsia which was a documentary about the legendary filmmaker Abel Ferrara. In 1998, Asia directed AbelAsia, which won awards by the Rome Film Festival. Asia's feature directing debut was Scarlet Diva where she played the lead actress and also wrote the screenplay. The film came out in May 2000 both in Italy and around the globe. The film was awarded an distinction in Brooklyn during the Williamsburg International Film Festival.
